Scissett Kids Club is a quality, Ofsted registered Breakfast Club which opened in 2002.

The Breakfast Club offers the following sessions:

• Early Breakfast Club (7:15am – 7:45am)
• Breakfast Club (7:45am – 8:45am)
• Drop-off session (8:15am – 8:45am)

Who is it for?

All children attending Scissett CE Academy or Scissett Middle School (up to and including Year 8).

Children attending Scissett CE Academy are taken to class in time for registration. Scissett Middle School children make their own way in time for registration.

When?

Every school day from 7:15am until school (8:45am).

What do we do?

Provide a safe place for your child to get ready for their day with a selection of activities and a healthy breakfast.

Breakfast

Broad selection of breakfast cereals, fruit, toast, crumpets, yoghurts and fresh fruit juice or water to drink.

Activities

We aim to provide a relaxing and friendly environment where your child can have a healthy breakfast then, either relax with their friends, read or play games.

Fees

Early Breakfast Club (7.15am): £7.00 per child per day

Breakfast Club: (7.45am) £5.50 per child per day.

Drop Off: (8.15am)£4.00 per child per day (excludes breakfast).

(Discounts are available for siblings &/or a full wrap-around care service [i.e. Breakfast and After School club on the same day].

Arrangements can be made to support students, working parents/carers, including shift workers.

The Team

Julie Horn who was the inspiration behind the original Kids Club is the Club’s manager.

Grace Buckley  the senior playworker.

Louise Morley, Sandra Morris,  Emily Featherstone, Sue MacDonald, , Zoe Rushforth, Anthea Smith,  and Amy Buckley are the playworkers.

All staff have an enhanced DBS.  Some staff are qualified in playwork and most hold a current first aid certificate.
